The inner workings of a

Two breakthrough ski
technologies, only available on Carradan skis, are
CRYO:2TM
and
FLEX:2TM
Carradan CRYO:2TM
All Carradan skis
include our proprietary CRYO:2TM
cryogenically treated steel edges. Similar to the
process used to treat and strengthen the metal in
spacecraft, the edge on every Carradan ski is
cryogenically frozen down to -450F/-270C - just 3
degrees Centigrade higher than absolute zero. The
treated edges are then molded on to the ski's main body.
The CRYO:2TM process results in the orderly
arrangement of crystals, which in turn increases
internal bonding and achieves a structural balance
throughout the ski's edge. The final result for your
edges? An increase in tensile strength, toughness and
stability.*

for just a few intermittent breaks on the snow - and
